Goal Setting - The Compass That Directs Your Goals

People start the year differently, some with so much confidence, energy and expectation and others with uncertainty and confusion.

With time people lose confidence in the idea of resolutions or surrender all to chance waiting for the will of God to happen. Success begins when one acknowledges that they are sorely responsible, that it is them who make their way prosperous along a script written for them by the Creator where there is divine providence.

The first step in the goals setting process, if one is to pursue worthwhile goals aligned to one’s purpose and wiring with the peace that releases confidence and energy is being aligned to The Will of sovereign authority. It is important to start the year with a clear sense of direction, knowing what will be central in all your endeavors.

This comes from knowledge of the heart of God and purpose to be accomplished through you as an individual.

God removed him from office and put King David in his place, with this commendation: 'I've searched the land and found this David, son of Jesse. He's a man whose heart beats to my heart, a man who will do what I tell him.' (1 Samuel 13: 14)

I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart, who will do all My will and carry out My program fully. [Acts 13: 22] AMP

David had this attribute of chasing after what God was after and we see the attribute also in the Master as he is quoted, 'I do what I see my Father do.'

David pleased The Lord because he had something that he always pursued, the heart of God. We have to put on an attitude that helps our hearts to beat to the heart of God.

In the above mentioned text, the word 'heart' is derived from the Greek Word 'Kardia' which literally means 'heart' and figuratively means, 'Thoughts, feelings, mind, intends, purpose'.

The man was after what God was purporting, intending, thinking and desiring to do and by him finding it, the text says, 'He will do my will and carry out my program fully.'

We are on earth as a result of someone's program and as we start the year it's important that we have the smallest of clues of what you specifically are supposed to do in this program.

This program and your part in the program is imprinted in your inner being (spirit) as you are born in the earth. The capacity to clearly decode and understand the program is increased as one gets born again and is brought into a consciousness of The creator involving them in His plans. The 1st century writer under the inspiration of Holy Spirit says,

For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), created in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned before hand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. [Ephesians 2: 10] AMP.

The best start of the year would be planning our lives in a way that is consistent with this plan. Identifying and following the heart and intends of God imprinted in our hearts positions us for a fruitful and fulfilling life that has guaranteed ends and assured means already set along the way.

Starting a year with clarity of purpose and direction sets one in motion with a certain level of confidence and energy that increases productivity and return on effort of unimaginable size. Most people get into the new year with so little energy and direction, and getting to know the program of God and aligning to it gives you so much energy, confidence and peace which makes everything open for you.

Start the year with charisma and aura that gives you favour and that has a guaranteed activity of God on your behalf and an opportunity for the activity of the supernatural and preset appointments in your favour. Find out what The Lord is doing and your place and part in the program, it's on the blueprint of his script for you inside you.
